HOMECOMING REMINDERS
Combined performance of Limestone Area 7th & 8th Graders with High School Marching Band
MUSIC: Our Director (Limestone Fight Song) and Don’t Stop Believin’
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 – Rehearsal at Limestone – 5pm-6pm – Meet in the area around the Band Room and Auxillary Gym (to the left of the cafeteria parking lot, between the football field, soccer fields, and the building) – You’ll need music, instrument, and SHOES/CLOTHES appropriate for outside work! Depending on weather it could be cold or damp – plan accordingly. Don’t wear flip flops. You’ll be out in the grass most of the time! Students are welcome to stay and watch all/part of the marching band’s rehearsal that runs from 6-8.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 – Homecoming Game – Meet near the Aux Gym/Band Room at 6:15pm. You’ll wear the provided Limestone band t-shirt (will be distributed at Monroe!), and appropriate pants (plan for weather) and shoes. Band plays for pre-game around 7:15. Parents planning to watch should be in the stands by 7pm just in case things run ahead of schedule. If you do not stay for the game, plan to be picked-up at 7:30. If you stay for the game, Limestone policy is that you must have an adult with you.
IF THE WEATHER IS RAINY – Decisions can get made anytime during the day up to the start of the game if weather is going to prevent us from performing. Our rain date will be Friday, October 13. Any news on cancellations will be sent via e-mail and the Facebook page.
